Huntsville attorney Roy W. Miller was appointed by Madison County District Court judge Ruth Madison to serve as Bishop's lawyer in the case of the murder of three of her colleagues at the University of Alabama branch there. Apparently Ms. Bishop has her wits enough about her to file an affadavit of indigency stating that she is unable to afford an attorney."
