74-Year Old Deploying To Afghanistan

"Lt. Col. John Burson spent 30 years in the Army reserves and never saw action, but now he says he hopes to be on the front lines -- at the age of 74.

Burson will be joining an infantry battallion in Afghanistan for 90 days and says he may spend some time at a mountainous outpost in rugged conditions. He admits he's had to convince Army doctors at times that he can handle the stress."
