"Consider an old wooden tall ship sailing on the high seas. The “experts” watch the ship move through the water; they observe the sails, the masts, the rigging, the shape of the hull. They describe the rudder, the compass, the angle of the sails, and the ballast. They examine all the details of this ship, and see how it cuts through the waves and how it pitches and rolls.
The ship, in their minds, is the Tea Party. Based on their extensive knowledge of how the ship should be designed and operated, they predict that it will crash on the rocks.
After all, the ship is without a captain or a charted course."
