"A solar eclipse from space. The moon passes between NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory and the sun. In a first for NASA's SDO, a project designed to help us understand the Sun's influence on Earth and Near-Earth space by studying the solar atmosphere, the new moon was recorded passing between the craft and the sun causing an eclipse."
