"Nov. 20: An unidentified oil worker checks a pipe into a waste oil pit in the Persian Gulf desert oil fields of Sakhir, Bahrain, while camels mill about nearby. Oil prices plunged more than $3 a barrel Thursday, briefly dipping below $50 a barrel as 16-year-high U.S. unemployment figures and plummeting world stock markets caused investors to price in lower crude demand."
