Today, Nancy Pelosi—Speaker of the House, third in line to the presidency—showed us yet again that the only institution in which she belongs has rubber rooms, burly male nurses, and sedatives at the ready.
In her weekly legislative briefing, Pelosi actually said that unemployment benefits were a “job creator.” She sang the glories of unemployment checks: “It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”"
