...dock ship Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) New York (LPD 21), directs an MV-22 Osprey to land on the flight deck during flight deck certifications in the Atlantic Ocean, October 19, 2009. The Osprey was the first aircraft to land aboard the ship. New York has 7.5 tons of World Trade Center steel in her bow and is scheduled to be commissioned November 7, 2009 in New York.
