"Vehicles passing his family's home on River Road honked their horns as they drove by while a Vermont State Trooper stood outside, the Burlington Free Press reported.
The trooper told the dozens of reporters and photographers camped outside the Phillips' home that the family would not be making an immediate comment about the rescue, the Free Press reported."
