"The aircraft carrier USS John Stennis' crew...

...members man the rails as it nears its Bremerton,Wash. homeport early Friday, just after sunrise. Waving flags are Daniel Ng and his brother Joshua Ng, from Puyallup, Wash. They were there to greet friend and Stennis sailor, Lt. Scott Allen. The ship with more than 3,000 sailors on board is completing a six-month deployment to the western Pacific."

Ahhhh! Bummertown
Many long years ago, I got to visit there, for a week, one night.
The day after, the USS Nimitz CVN68got underway for a 6 week training evolution with CVW9 and SeaOpDets from various Air Stations. The bums wouldn't let me go up on deck to see my house near the Fort Casey Ferry Landing on Whidbey Island. It was that sorry Atlantic Fleet mentality.
