"Mount Popa"

"A monastery built on top of a volcanic plug in Burma. The 2,500ft sheer precipice, named Taung Kalat, was formed when molten magma from nearby Mount Popa hardened in a vent on the volcano. The only access is up a steep flight of 777 rickety steps."
